Another match with a great shot at making my list. Fluid, tells a compelling story, Eddie is a great as the dick heel, and Rey engenders the babyface sympathy like almost no other.

If you ever want to get a hint at how crisp Rey is, this is the match. Maybe he's had a few more impressive spots strewn across his AAA run, but I cannot think of a match where he's this flashy, and this crisp for as long as he is. Eddie as a dick heel certainly helped shape the match, but there was a lot riding on Mysterio's hope spots and he hit every single one of them.

Maybe their best match together, and they've had some damn corkers.

I get what Bill and Rah are saying, but this match, for whatever, has never struck me as an "holy shit, this is amazing" kind of match. It's great, don't get me wrong. Rey is so incredible and Eddie is very good in his role, but I can't see this making my list. I've watched this match a few times and every time I'm left with the same feeling - it was great, but that's it. There have been plenty of great matches.

Just love this. These two guys are very over and they were still at the top of their games with their ring work. Definitely going high up the list.

The DDT spot that starts around 4:48 in the video still may be my favorite single spot in wrestling history. There's been crazier sequences, but I don't know if I've ever seen something that difficult executed that buttery smooth. I've watched it 100 times.

Probably the 2nd best WCW match ever IMO after the Rude/Steamboat Iron Man match. Eddie does being a despicable asshole so well here and Rey comes off as a mega star.
