Couldn't have put it any better. Sure as hell convinced me to watch it. Everything was so technically sound, and the transitions were creative. Could you tell me what specific holds were replicated, I know I'm asking for a lot, but I can't decipher whether some of these transitions were original or not because they're so common in lucha libre today, and I haven't seen enough historic lucha libre matches to know the foundation for this match.Rah wrote:Easy yes.
Gun to head, this is the best match AAA has ever produced. It's also a match that contains spots that have been replicated innumerably (most famously, perhaps, by Eddie/Malenko).
Both luchadores are so crisp in their executions and it baffles the mind at how they can keep that fluidity going, especially at the pace they were wrestling for a good portion of this match. It's equally great to see how diverse they kept the match. While both are talented mat specialists, they wrestled and bumped in and out the ring throughout.
