Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

I am assuming the Kimber Lee "injury" was a work? Pretty shitty of them to do that if Jim goes on all the time about not wanting injury angles like that when Sebastian was KO'd on the previous show. Decent show. Loved the Number One contenders match. Joe Coffey looked the best he has looked in PROG...

Re: VOW Flagship (October 20): Call for Questions!

Where do you guys see the British scene going when there are so many world class promotions competing for such a small live audience market? Especially WhatCulture charging 5 bucks to see Kurt Angle and Minoru Suzuki, how harmful is this for the customer's expectations for other promotions?

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

Hopefully it's better than their New Japan match.

Re: PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerilla)

Night 2. Christ. It's honestly up there with the Wrestlekingdom for show of the year. Everything was great, apart from Cody vs Callihan, I didn't go full five on the main event but I love how much they tried and how innovative it felt. The Fenix/Pentagon vs Heroes match was very close to a full five...

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Feel bad for Sydal. Def made a dumb mistakes, but who hasn't made some? Hope he makes it back to the states safe. Outside of graps/food Japan seems totally unchill. One of my favorite wrestlers in the game. The guy is in his mid thirties and has worked in Japan for some time. He should have known b...

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

Zack Gibson is the best promo in the world, and one of the best heels in the world. It's a shame no one outside of this tiny island would understand him.

Re: PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerilla)

Ordering this year's BOLA was the first time ordering straight from the PWG website. I only received a Paypal receipt and that was months ago. Is this usual with them or is something up?

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Does anyone else actually think ACH and Ishimori have a huge chance to win this thing? Part of me says yes, the other says no. It's a fresh and exciting team, which they need more of in that division but with Ishimori being a full-time NOAH guy, it's possible he and ACH lose. I think they'd want a ...

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

The Origin are kind of silly now, but in a well-balanced way. Funny assholes, still assholes. I've gained a new appreciation for El Ligero especially, as he turned out to be the best thing about those Smash vs PROGRESS shows (should I post about those in the Smash thread, considering that's the soi...

Re: The JOSHI thread

I assume that is Toni Storm going full-time in Japan? Does that mean moving up sticks again? Thought she could have been a key player in PROGRESS over the coming months. Toni took a big risk in leaving Australia to move to the UK, and it's ended up with her getting a contract in Japan. Big things w...

Re: The JOSHI thread

welp , its Tessa vs Yoko Bito in the finals ... but it makes sense if you are going to put Bito in the finals (and winning) and Kairi is injured ... Meh. Io challenged KLR though so that'll be great. They'll get more than the five minutes when I saw them down in London. The gaijin have felt like th...
