The line about Elite making more from merch sales than BSS make from their entire WWEUK deals was edited out apparently so it would seem that way.jgilf wrote:Vimeo release has the match too. Odd as I was sure it was going to have to be dark. Guess WWE approved it?

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK
The Australian/NZ scene might take a hit. In the same interview I mentioned earlier TK and Dahlia said they knew of six aussies and a few kiwis who were leaving for the UK soon. https://memorabiliaguy.com/2017/04/26/tk-cooper-dahlia-black-exclusive-interview-we-arrived-at-the-best-possible-time-and...

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
Bubblegum vs. Josh Bodom in a Cruiserweight Title match and Michael Elgin vs. Dave Mastiff both confirmed for RevPro's Portsmouth Guildhall show on May 28th. DBS Jr. will also be wrestling there.

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
This is a super cool idea that will hopefully have some good names (no reason why it can't, considering who RevPro normally books) and wash the taste of Super J Cup 2016 out of everybody's mouths. I'm expecting about a 50/50 split of Brits and imports. Ospreay, Scurll, Bubblegum, Dunne and Haskins ...

First name being announced Monday. RevPro also considering the possibility of Heavyweight and Tag tournaments in future if this goes well.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Mike Bird is a good get, long overdue on Progress Chapter shows. Would be fine with Bird & Boar filling out the heel side of the tag division as a team that can actually get booed, and Progress probably need more mid-level singles heels at this point too.

Re: The BritWres thread (Big Daddy for HoF)
This weekend was an absolutely ridiculous one for British and Irish wrestling, Fight Club Pro in Wolves on Friday night was comfortably the best show I've ever seen live with all but one match getting a live ****+ feeling from me, just great wrestling up and down the card! I've also since caught up...

Re: The BritWres thread (Big Daddy for HoF)
I'm at the Lucha Forever debut. Normally I'd be stoked at the line up, but I'm at Fight Club for the BSS/Elite match a few nights prior, so it's hard to even remember I've got anything past that. Really hoping it takes off. They're certainly giving it an ambitious start - not surprising given who's...

Re: The BritWres thread (Big Daddy for HoF)
Right about now I imagine at least half of the WWEUK contracted guys have it tattooed onto their arm, like a weird Britwres Dark Mark that summons them to Orlando whenever William Regal touches his.rovert wrote:Should WWE rent or buy the black cab and red phone box now?

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
I think it kind of sucks waiting so long for Chapter 46. I understand that breaking the US / getting a ton of money from WWE is the focus for the company, that makes sense. But it still sucks for subscribers to wait so long for Ch. 46, and it kind of makes that show feel less important now, knowing...

Pivotshare in the next week or two. Chapter 46 is the priority at the moment I'd imagine but the Orlando show shouldn't be too far behind.Jacob's Bawks wrote:Will the Orlando show come up on PROGRESS' Pivotshare or is it WWN exclusive?

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
According to the Observer, the people working Axxess will probably be offered WWEUK contracts. Toni Storm's an interesting one as she's also a Stardom regular. Maybe having a "steady" employer would help Cooper/Black/Banks with their Visa situation? Exact wording: "the belief is that the wrestlers ...

Might be live bias but genuinely feel like 46 outdid it. Havoc-Ospreay, Sexsmith-Banks, Haskins-ADJ and WALTER-Riddle all must-see and all for different reasons.Lawsoncomedy wrote:Chapter 45 was so excellent. Show of the year contender. And Ospreay worked an excellent match without doing any flips.

Re: PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerilla)
Very interested to see who PWG have for 5/19 if that does end up being a show date, given the amount of talent that'll be in Europe at the time. That said, most of the April lineup is in UK the week before, so fuck knows.
