Re: wXw - Germany's biggest promotion

That's what I'd think, but him missing Progress due to "travel issues" (he was in Germany at the time) thickens the plot ever so slightly.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

If there are acts in Progress to go with the chapters, I'd say they go as such: First Act: 1-8 Second Act: 9-20 Third Act: 21-36 Fourth Act: 37-??? I think that would be fair. Hyped up to see what comes with the fourth act. The new titles, new imports and fresh home-grown talent, plus new spots high...

Re: Insane Championship Wrestling

They managed to do a cage match just fine midway through the show at last year's FNL.

Re: Insane Championship Wrestling

Should point out that unless any storyline shit happens, Kenny Williams was cost his spot in the Zero-G match which feels like a really weird move. Seems like they've been building to Kenny winning the title from Lionheart for god knows how long. So maybe Kenny-Ricochet is on the cards, but I have ...

Re: Insane Championship Wrestling

Yeah, I always had a hunch it'd come down to a big Survivor Series tag main event, and while it might not be elimination, I don't see how anything could go on last.

Unless they throw Angle-Coffey on last, given that Angle is probably all that 75% of the crowd is there for.

They'll replace him with Velvet Sky.

It's mad to think Trent Seven is headlining the Hydro. #SaveTheCage mate.
If the title match goes on last. Given who Trent will be having to carry, I'm not sure it would.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

The new city is Sheffield. Chapter 40 is being moved there due to the Ritz being double booked that night. Seems like a one-off, all future Manc dates are unaffected. EDIT: Beaten to the punch. The show title (Intercepted Angel) is quite amusing, given it's referencing a song by Ash (who are the one...

Re: AAW Thread

I'm interested in a Pentagon/Sami Deathmatch. I know Callihan isn't exactly beloved but I enjoyed his Deathmatch with Drake Younger in PWG a hell of a lot and I loved Pentagon vs. Vampiro from Ultima Lucha. This is my jumping-in point for AAW Shows and I'm excited to see what goes down. I honestly ...

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

Maybe they'll get a TV spot for it, that'd be fantastic. Could see it just being a Youtube/Demand Progress thing though.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

I was sat in the front row of the stalls and I definitely noticed the atmosphere come in peaks and troughs. ZSJ-Ciampa felt very weird in terms of crowd reaction, or often lack thereof. Some of the other matches really thrived, but I can definitely understand there being a disconnect for those furth...

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling

Expecting it'll be BUSHI-Ospreay on one of the nights then. Would expect Sabre to defend the title against Shibata and Hero but I could see there being a LDRS match.

Pete Dunne vs. Tomohiro Ishii will be a magnificent match and I really need to get my ticket for night two.

My thought is that they're... good? Useful to have, though I think these days it's a lot harder to be a good heel than a good face.
