Re: WWE NXT 2018 (A-show schedule in OP)

Is 4 3/4 an outstanding match vs 5 stars best WWE match of all time that big of a gulf to cross? Don't think that's contrarian.

Re: THE XFL THREAD

TY for the explaination Ferrante207. I guess I never noticed a difference in play since the CTE thing but I don't watch enough. It is amazing how much it compares to the WWE. Throw in the Madden games being shitty and worse than games that came out nearly 20 years ago, the WWE and NFL are the same....

Re: THE XFL THREAD

As someone that never watches the NFL, what has changed about the game that people hate? Due to (completely valid) concerns about CTE, the NFL has changed the rules to make the game safer. Think of it like watching WWE boddy roode bore style vs an Omega/Ishii all out match. Additionally, the qualit...

Re: THE XFL THREAD

the whole presentation came across as if they stumbled on a lot of the Top 10 Things People Hate About The NFL! listicle and their only strategy is to specifically say they're not doing any of those things, not realizing some of those are reasons are conflicting or coming from opposing fan views. A...

Re: THE XFL THREAD

I do not follow American Football, but i am really curious what makes Vince think he can make another Sport league main stream in USA. Rich people who start with family money and success often believe they are gifted at all en-devours and therefore believe they succeed in anything they want. I also...

Re: VOW Flagship: XFL Returns, Royal Rumble, TakeOver, 205 Future & more!

Will XFL’s inevitable failure lead to a WWE sale? Will we see less of VKM’s fingerprints on WWE creatively? Cahoots is such a quintessentially pro wrestling word. Can’t even though of another context in which it is used. Always assumed it’s an old western phrase since VKM loves that shit. Had Enzo t...

Chance the rapper did this gimmick with Uber in Chicago where he did a secret show and you entered a code and the uber came and took you there. THIS would be some next level experiential marketing for wrestling. Maybe VOW sponsor LYFT could get involved.

Re: VOW Flagship: EVOLVE Weekend, 205 Live, NWA Empty Arena & more!

Couldn't agree with Joe more that deathmatch is the lowest form of wrestling. Sure, Onita was a huge draw but so are shitty comic book reboots in the box office. Wrestlers in my mind need to either be athletes or performers (ideally both). Deathmatch is neither. Deathmatch is simply a willingness to...

Re: VOW Flagship: EVOLVE Weekend, 205 Live, NWA Empty Arena & more!

Joe are you going to bring TLB into modern society or take up as frontier bae? Hope 205 dissolves in time for BOSJ. Ced, TJP, or Dorada could have a good run. What do you ya'll think will happen with the 205 talent once it comes to a close? Some to NXT? TNA? ROH? I can't agree with Joe enough about ...

Lanza out here using "I'm from Jersey!" as an excuse for not knowing about the Coyote Hunting...when in NJ, there is a Deer Season AND Bear Season to control the population of Deer and Bear and to keep them, you need to bring them to the TOWN CENTER to get them tagged. We're here, we're clear. Don'...

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

O’Reilly is definitely similar to Richards in that their attempts to be extroverted feel forced and inorganic (hence why I recently drew a parallel between Undisputed and NRC.) And like I wish with Richards, I’d much prefer O’Reilly play a role more similar to Horsemen era Benoit, just go out there...

Not sure if this fits in here, but Barry Windham could've been Ric Flair level if he actively strived for greatness. Dude didn't even lift.
