Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Seem it states they're not going to do the shows anymore. And seems none in feb suggest this. D-rize however probably still going. Not sure about if they will end the partnership with Bjpw. But it's not like they will carry on using Indy guys in the hw division forever. Ajpw will eventually be getti...

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Don't expect many Gaijin workers or non Japanese promotions to team up with Ajpw anytime soon. It's been a recent trend in Japan not to use them out of expenses. (Hotel and airplane and food or rates). Wrestle-1 does the same and now soon Noah. Njpw is really the only Gaijin heavy promotion right no...

Re: Wrestle-1 thread

Expected to be like Njpw 90's in terms of style. Might not use young guys, certainly however will outdraw wrestle-1. Wrestle-1 isn't being disbanded either. So what's the style difference between it and Real Japan Pro Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Zero-1 or Dradition. Well as someone who watched it, tha...

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

Shinsei Noah will be about internal struggle says Uchida. And bloodlines, meaning ties to the past. For now they won't use Njpw guys and are likely to partner with the other feds in due time. They also renamed estbee into Noah global entertainment co. Which will handle the tours and contracts. None ...

Kakutolog, Black teasure island mag is good for business insider stuff. Also my sources help me, but I don't leak them.

Re: WWE Cruiserweight Classic

Bryan Alvarez made a solid point today. He referenced a Tyson Dux interview about the restrictions put on them by the CWC agents. (no neck drops was one thing he mentioned). His overarching point was that these guys will be hamstrung on the main roster. They aren’t going to bust out a lot of the mo...

Re: Breaking News: NOAH acquired by Japanese IT Firm

Uchida signed many bigger names, attendance increased, changed the booking to fit modern style. At one point Ajpw was doing ok and Noah was doing worse but then Nobuo ruined it all. Nobuo was told to buy Ajpw from Uchida's input but he wouldn't just listen and just pay the debt off and pay contracts...

Re: Breaking News: NOAH acquired by Japanese IT Firm

Uchida is very smart. All titles, contracts, staff, Noah's name are bought. Whatever this means for Go, Kanemaru, Suzuki Gun members remains to be seen. Uchida vows to reconstruct Noah into a profitable company again. Hinting at return to origin with Misawa's pic in the back. Now if there's wrestle...

Re: 2016 G1 Climax

I wouldn't like Okada winning the G1 at all. It's about finding the #1 Contender at Wrestle Kingdom. If Okada wins, then the whole thing becomes moot. And I say that as big fan of his. Actually it's only recent history that the G1 winner has become the contender for Wrestle Kingdom. Okada was the f...

As long as they have international buyers and some people buying it in the states, it will stay this way for PPVs.

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

They will probably have Shibata vs Aoki..maybe even Okada vs Aoki or so. Njpw reflects both the American Style and Strong Style at times. Strong-Style is more about martial art based techniques and realism and fight atmosphere. American-Style is what they have been pushing since Inoki left, not to s...
