Re: Bryan Danielson vs AJ Styles

I think Danielson was headed to be a bigger deal in WWE than AJ will ever be but obviously other circumstances stopped that. I think you'd have to give the nod to AJ (Although I prefer Bryan) just because he has literally done everything there is to do. No one has ever done more.

Re: WWE Workrate Power Rankings Vote #2

I think you gotta go with Cien, WITH the caveat that where he goes Zelina follows. She has been the best promo in WWE for a few months now and elevates him to a level where he could step in and credibly mix it up with anyone. She is so perfectly just what he was missing as a heel, love that pair. He...

Re: WWE NXT 2018 (A-show schedule in OP)

Loved Strong vs. Bate this week, it's one of the better outings Strong has had since he came to NXT and I'm ALL for Dunne/Bate getting fresher opponents that aren't just themselves, Andrews, or Seven.

Re: WrestleMania 34 Weekend (New Orleans, LA)

That's huge for ROH, very surprised that's happening. I'm not gonna be in NOLA but I would prob plop down 30 or 40 bucks to see that PPV now.

Re: Voices of Wrestling Match of the year Discussion

I think some might be surprised about Shibata/Okada taking the crown but I had it as my MOTY, and kept seeing people on Twitter saying it was theirs as well so in reality it shouldn't be a surprise at all. I have to say that match got more audible reactions outta me than anything else I have ever wa...

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

I think Jay White looked great. Kenny underestimated him and by the time he realized that he was absolutely not just gonna wear White down, Jay was able to steal one. I'm not sure if they were planning on it working out this way but losing to Tana like he did and then coming back to upset an over co...

Re: My Best Match #6 - Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar, Wrestlemania 31. Would probably make my top 5 matches of the 2010s. Superb match, perfect length, perfect ending. The ideal of what WWE can be at a high level. Felt like it had a real WrestleKingdom/Kings Road main event kind of vibe and feel. Roman weathered the storm...

Re: Wrestlers that "Had It" but never made it/retired...

This might be totally off base and out of left field, but I think one of the biggest fuck ups, missed opportunities, whatever you wanna call it by WWE was Carlito. Most of the time he was a basic kind of dude, but every once in a while he'd show a flash and be very impressive. I think he was wasted ...

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

ROH tv has been better than NXT as of late. I love weekly tv wrestling, that's the main reason I stick w/ this company. That's a bold statement - what matches/segments have stood out? Consider that after Houston, NXT hosted Ohno vs. Gargano, Riot vs. Deville feud-ender, Sullivan vs. Strong, Sanity ...

Re: WWE NXT 2018 (A-show schedule in OP)

Another great show, I think they've really got something with Tino/Moss. This could be a very good shitheel tag team. Funny to think if this was 2007 they'd already be on the Main Roster working the upper midcard and probably squashing Rey Mysterio or something. They are very Chris Mastersesque in ...

Re: My Best Match #5 - Kurt Angle

Next up - Kurt Angle, arguably one of the greatest of all time. Anyway my vote - Kurt Angle v Chris Benoit - Royal Rumble 2003 A technical master-class that really should have got the full *****. Anyway lets hear everyone else's opinions. Obviously, a great match on all levels. To me, the match tha...
