Re: VOW Flagship: Mae Young Classic, AJPW, TripleMania & more!

Shayna Baezler is green in a lot of ways, but she still carries herself like a badass and a star. Even if I had no idea who she was she'd be someone I couldn't take my eyes off of. As someone who hadn't seen her wrestle before until recently, this was how I felt. She comes off as a badass shooter, ...

Re: F4W/Observer-Is it still worth paying for?

It's a double edged sword in that on one hand, we argue laziness for him not watching a lot and deferring discussion, but then we'd get upset at the content of his analysis. Although yes, the solution to that there should be a new host with Dave. I don't think anyone would mind. Bryan can do the Vi...

Re: F4W/Observer-Is it still worth paying for?

Bryan hits record and says nothing, Dave speaks at length about it. This is every show. "Take us through the undercard, Dave." Joe, this one was next level. Bryan: "We're here to talk all things X-F-L." Dave: "Did you watch the documentary?" Bryan: "I did not" *dave talks for an hour and five minut...

This is every show.

"Take us through the undercard, Dave."
This show was a career performance from him.

Re: F4W/Observer-Is it still worth paying for?

Today's XFL show is exactly the kind of thing they should do more of. Not every week, but once in a while.

Have an old topic, Bryan hits record and says nothing, Dave speaks at length about it.

Re: Official WWE Thread

The mixed tag idea would be such a waste of Cena.

Really hope they make it a singles and just have Nikki stop Maryse from interfering or something.

WWE Royal Rumble 2017 - January 29, 2017

cbacon87 wrote:Yeah, it to got to the point that I was waiting for Goldberg, Lesnar or Taker to come out and clear the ring and instead they did the New Day/Cesaro and Sheamus thing.
Just one or two surprise entrants like RVD, or Ron Simmons, or Nash or whoever would have really helped out in the first half.

Official WWE Thread

I get that they're all limited in what they can do, but leaving ALL the big names until the end was a bad idea if they weren't going to bring in a couple of legends/surprises to spread out earlier. And as much as I'll defend Reigns, having him at 30 was just a wet blanket all over the match. I wasn'...

Re: WWE Elimination Chamber 2017 - February 12th 2017

Cena, AJ, Wyatt, Corbin,....Kalisto and Kane maybe?

Orton/Harper in some kind of gimmick match

Becky/Mickie

Ambrose/Miz

Ziggler/Crews, I guess. Or just add Dolph to the IC title match and stretch the show with promos/videos.

Re: Rumble Rewatch Project: 2015

I don't think Vince has ever been more out of touch with his audience than he was with this match and how it was laid out.

Re: Rumble Rewatch Project: 2013

The most notable thing here was this marked the first time Jericho was able to surprise everyone with a debut/return.

Re: Rumble Rewatch Project: 2007

Worth mentioning as well, it took them 20 years to have someone win from #30. Meanwhile six people had won from inside the top five entrants. I wonder at what point they realised how glaring it was that nobody had actually won from #30 before and decided they'd better do it. It's the "who can possi...

Re: Rumble Rewatch Project: 2007

Personally, I loved the Undertaker/HBK mini-match here more than their two Mania matches.

Every near elimination had me losing my damn mind.

Re: Rumble Rewatch Project: 2012

The biggest problem with it is that the roster was so devoid of star power that even with so many joke entrants, you still had room for the Primos and Justin Gabriels. And the part-timers weren't even that good. I remember the tag line for this year being "ANYONE can enter the Royal Rumble" and the ...
