Re: Next wave indie stars

Standouts from the last Nova Pro show I went to: - Rayo Mentioned earlier in the thread. Not sure what his ceiling is but I really liked him in Dojo Wars last year too. I still think he needs a coat of paint but I could see him being a big part of the new wave of more workrate-y type guys making up ...

Re: Wrestle Circus - The Texas SuperIndie

Is there some reason everyone shit all over the funding drive? Seems petty and unhelfpful from an outside perspective. Because they're a business that started with a lot of capital. They're not a mom and pop indie, they specifically started this with the intention of spending a shit ton of money to...

Re: VOW Flagship (May 10): Call for Questions

Every Japanese wrestling company needs an Ace (or two) to survive long term. NJPW has Okada, DDT just went from HARASHIMA to Takeshita, Stardom has Shirai (for now), AJPW has Miyahara, BJW should be fine to transition from Suzuki/Sekimoto generation to the Kamitani/Nomura generation just fine, etc. ...

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

Some of the best cards they've put on so far this year IMO. Cage vs Suguira, Go vs Kiyomiya, all the Kenoh matches, Fuji vs Kitamiya, Ishimori vs Sugiura, there's just a ton of good stuff here. I know the bad business has turned people away but I hope a few matches from this get some buzz and get mo...

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling

BOSJ, British J Cup, and the WCPW Japanese World Cup qualifiers all using Liger, Bushi, Kushida, and Takahashi. Was worried about a ton of repeat matchups. Glad RevPro decided to do something a bit different with that one to liven it up.

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

Even if Stan Hansen also spent some time lying down in ice cream freezers, he didn't have the ability to post it publicly on Instagram. Also there is a SLIGHT difference of in-ring ability that might account for the difference.

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Now the question is, are they booking Scurll against NJ juniors to get him ready for BOSJ, or so we get some great matches that we won't get because he's not in the BOSJ? Thinking the former.

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

Noah really isn't getting a lot of good out of this Impact partnership huh. They better send over Lashley as an apology.

Also, Kazma Sakamoto is his replacement apparently. I'll consider that an upgrade.

Re: Next wave indie stars

I'm going to second Cain Justice. He's been one of my favorite wrestlers this year, and I really think he has all the makings as a touring heel, especially in the southern indies. As far as I know he's still pretty tied to the hip with CWF-MA, but hopefully he will be touring soon. His style is real...
