Re: Pirata Morgan vs. El Faraon (EMLL 11/16/90)

Blood, violence, emotion, drama, great brawling, choice flying, and matwork; all of that and more means this will be making my list.

Re: King of Pro-Wrestling, EVOLVE/WWE, NOAH's Savior & more!

Damn Joe, you gotta get on that BOLA 2015. My ****+ total is around ten so far, and I'm half way through Night 3. Seriously though, what an insane tournament and more than anything a fun time. The wrestlers are having a blast, the crowd is loving it and the commentators have a fun time as well. I c...

Re: Harley Race vs. Ric Flair (NWA 11/24/1983)

Another great match that won't make my list. My main issue is that while I like the nuts and bolts of the match enough to consider this a ****+ affair, the terrible refereeing of Kiniski is impossible to look past. He drags the match down hard, and he gives zero fucks.

Re: Ric Flair vs. Lex Luger (NWA 12/26/1988)

Edit: Got this confused with the Bash match. Still a great match, still won';t make my list, but with the Starrcade match it's just a match I feel falls short of feeling complete.

Re: Ricky Steamboat vs. Ric Flair (NWA 05/07/1989)

Probably the best of the Flair/Steamboat I have seen, and a match that will most likely be very high on my list. They work so well off of one another, providing a seamless experience that has just as much heat and drama as it does technical wizardry.

Re: Ric Flair vs. Terry Funk (NWA 07/23/1989)

Definitely has a shot, just wonderful, glorious violence. Flair is pushed to the edge, Funk is out of control, the pain, the anger, the hatred, it's all so much fun.

Re: F4W/Observer-Is it still worth paying for?

If the Observer were just Dave, Alan, Bix, and some others by all means I would believe it's worth the money. But, it's not, and I refuse to give my money to anything associated with Bryan Alvarez. From him not knowing what the hell is going on, not watching much of any wrestling at this point, to h...

Re: WWE NXT 2015

Athena debuted at last night's house show, pretty speedy given she only reported a couple of weeks ago. Even Bálor and Owens had to sit out a while when they signed. Hadn't they changed things up a bit since those guys signed to where new signings were working dark matches or house shows pretty soo...

Re: 2015 Wrestler of the Year tracker

Maybe because as people have said repeatedly she hasn't had just good matches, but great MOTYC matches on multiple occasions. And she's surrounded that with consistently good work on the TV show. The appreciative crowd comment is well, not relevant and other bad things I don't really want to say. I...

Re: CMLL, the home of Cavernario

If this means he won't be on Lucha Underground, then these are great news. Why would you have been against him being on LU? Mistico is a pretty swell wrestler. Eh, people still get Vietnam-like flashbacks due to his botching nature. I guess I've just been lucky that I haven't seen many botches from...

Re: 2015 Wrestler of the Year tracker

I'm not sure how someone who has a good match in every 2-3 months in front of a VERY easily appreciative crowd should even be considered as BITW. Maybe because as people have said repeatedly she hasn't had just good matches, but great MOTYC matches on multiple occasions. And she's surrounded that w...

Re: 2015 Wrestler of the Year tracker

Flair/Thesz is about the total package. Most Outstanding is solely in ring. Sasha to me is a MEGASTAR in every way every time she's on screen be it an interview, a documentary or a ring entrance. The great matches are only a part of the package with her. To be fair the topic kind of morphed at some...
