Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

It did look very promotional haha, but thanks for the clarification. Since there's two triple crown matches in October, guessing we wont see another one until January? or maybe tag league finals? Also just remembering now a supposedly big show in Sapporo in November with Mutoh on it, maybe there as ...

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Recently seen a picture of some younger guys working out at a gym, including Nomura, Yohei Nakajima and Yusuke Okada with the new trainee Yuki Kanzaki. Not seen was the supposed heavyweight trainee, hoping hes still around?!

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Hoping Tatsu doesn't become a regular. Junior tourney looks fine, although it seems set up for another Aoki Sato win.

Taiyo Kea coming back for a show, or shows? is interesting, hoping he helps draw a good number at Korakuen

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Yeah New Japan has such a huge roster, and with this little agreement/partnership they have with Uncle Jun, I could see them taking a team or two just to give em something and would help All Japan sell tickets, Oka & Kitamura and Kojima & Nagata could be cool, would let guys like Nomura and Aoyagi g...

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

If they can get enough good teams, don't even bother with the New Japan guys, can't rely on outside talent forever, not that they have been

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Isn't the NJPW and AJPW tag leagues kind of on at the same time in December? Might not be able to get any big name teams other than some young lions or Suzuki-gun castoffs

Yeah seeing an outsider NJPW team would be cool, probably will see someone from W-1

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Suwama/Ishikawa possible for tag league. Any other teams or surprises anyone would want to see? I think All Japan might have the best tag league out there in recent years

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

I can see him winning Odo, maybe even winning the title at Yokohama. Is Sai the only contender at the moment since he beat Miyahara in the Carnival? Zeus beat Kento at the Carnival. He hasn't had a title shot since Suwama vacated, and Big Guns don't have the tag titles for once. He must be in line ...

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Really like that idea of running the free university shows, more eyes is only a good thing. Was there a new trainee at Sumo Hall or was it the same new guy from before? Which one do you mean? Woah. I don't know why but I always felt Tanahashi got scouted out of some sort of competition or team, lik...
