Re: VOW Flagship: Bischoff/Heyman, Fyter Fest, Stomping Grounds & more!

Lacey Evans is just another PC baby that was called up way too early. She was just starting to come around in NXT. Started looking something like functional bell-to-bell. Clearly didn't have any direction on TV and was getting passed up, but was getting visually better in the limited TV matches she ...

Re: Official WWE Thread

Stomping Grounds. I won't touch upon the overall show, really. First half was solid. Second half was putrid. But the end of that show...Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch together was laughably awkward. You know damn well the goal was to have them actually kiss on live TV. You can just hear Vince McMahon ...

Re: VOW Flagship: G1 Climax Blocks, WWE Stomping Grounds & NOAH

They did not have Shingo run through an entire junior division outside of Ospraey in such a dominant fashion only for him to go lose 4-5 G1 matches. Naito and Jay White are the only clear losses I see. Just too high on the card to justify. Ishii and Moxley are "upsets" that could set up future title...

Re: VOW Flagship: Dominion, KENTA, Dragon Gate & more!

There were just points in the Okada/Jericho match where it looked sloppy, slow, and where they didn't have strong chemistry. When Lanza said they felt the end meant well...I feel like that was the entire match. Meant well. Understood everything. The structure and what they wanted to do were good...j...

Re: WWE NXT 2019 (A-show schedule in OP)

@Joe Lanza

When they were giving out gimmicks, Kona Reeves took his off of the woman's pile. In the snake draft, he sniped Bianca Belair for THE FINEST gimmick.

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Jon Moxley is a star. Shingo is a star. Nice ***1/2 type match v. his future self. Ishii (c) v. Taichi - saw a lot of praise for this one. I thought it was ***3/4 type match. Dragon Lee (c) v. Will Ospraey - ****1/2 Ibsuhi (c) v. Naito - ****3/4 ... some of the nastiest neck bumps I've ever seen. Po...

Re: VOW Flagship: BOSJ Finals, Dominion, TakeOver XXV & Aoki

To double down on Lanza's Ibushi take...

I'll go one step further.

It'll be Ibushi v. Omega.

I don't know how...but they'll get there.

Re: Official WWE Thread

Moxley interviews opened up the floodgates...doesn't seem like WWE creatively is being treated with kid gloves any longer and their work practices are being taken to task. Would expect this fire to get a lot hotter as we get closer to that FOX deal and as AEW on TV gets closer.

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

I loved the BOSJ Final. Undercard was rock solid before the big singles matches. Jay White v. Hiroshi Tanahashi was a nice redemption from their WK match. Juice Robinson v. Jon Moxley was so good. I was at ****1/2 on it. I like everything about this Jon Moxley. He's going to be the biggest star in A...

Lanza. To add to the Thursday TV reviews. Watch Firefly Fun House. Provide Takes. Make it good. Last night's was really the best and if you're not planning on watching the Saudi show, really the only thing you need to see on the show. Havent watched RAW or Smackdown in a few weeks, but Firefly Fun ...

Re: VOW Flagship: Moxley on Talk is Jericho & AEW Double or Nothing

Jericho is 100% the best damn shill in the business. His pivots to hock some sponsor are unrivaled in the world of podcasting. Most podcast hosts begrudgingly put ads in their shit, but Jericho does it because he really loves shilling and does it completely in flow with conversation. Its the standar...
