Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread
No word on Jericho-Naito yet. Assume it happens in March, only question is if it's in the US, or if it's at the Anniversary show in Tokyo. There's a gap in Fozzy dates just big enough for Jericho to make it out to Japan and back, but it's a very slim gap indeed and it would be a very demanding workl...

Re: 2018 Prediction Thread
Okada drops the title to Naito at Dominion. A rematch for WK13 is teased to fuck but Okada loses the G1 final.
And something I feel I'm gonna predict on the off-chance every year until it happens - Shibata returns at Power Struggle to challenge NEVER champion Goto for the Dome.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Watched the first hour of Chapter 60 before and it might be the worst hour in wrestling history It was fantastic for the live crowd and watching it back I still enjoyed it about as much as I could hope to on a rewatch, but stuff like that is always gonna vary wildly in how people receive it I suppo...

Re: 2018 Prediction Thread
One or both of SANADA or Tonga wins a singles title. Jericho beats Tanahashi for the Intercontinental belt in America. Masato Yoshino wins the Dream Gate. ICW's Fear and Loathing show is a massive flop. Jonah Rock debuts in Progress and murders a lot of people. Hirooki Goto wakes up and realises tha...

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
I believe there's a 6 week gap between Alexandra Palace and the following Chapter. There's no real time to put the belt on Travis and get it off him again before he has to leave the country. Maybe he's taking it away with him? There are three Chapter shows he can enter as champ before he has to go,...

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Also, 10/10 for the production/camera crew after the main event. The shots of Travis in the middle of the ring with CCK and TK & Dahlia in opposite corners was great. The potential for a CCK vs SPPT match for the Tag Titles could headline the Alexandra Palace with the buzz it will get. Very intrigu...

Re: Dragon Gate
T-Hawk fully did his part in helping YAMATO pull out the best singles match of his title reign so far. MaxiMuM looked great, and it seems like the Unit Survival League is gonna put a big focus on Big R which I'm fully here for. Pretty sure he'll be the one to ultimately save his unit when it comes d...

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
Sorry to hear about the heatwave. I vaguely remember hearing about it, but my brain didn't connect the two things. Now I'm pretty worried about going to the Cockpit in early August.. The main event of which just got announced, CCK (Kid Lykos & Travis Banks - a first?) vs War Machine. I'm pretty exc...

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Added to New York is a number one contenders Atlas match between Donovan Dijak and Timothy Thatcher... Interesting if Thatcher wins and has to go up against his Ringkampf partner WALTER for the title. Thatcher is Germany-based for the next few months and will almost definitely be at a Progress show...

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling
Entirely due to how hot it was in the building. Just obliteratingly hot in a way that made it really difficult to get super passionate about the match despite it being really good.suplexberry wrote:KOR/KUSHI had their worst match, which was still a great match, the crowd just oddly didn't seem that into it.

Re: PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerilla)
Would rather SPPT vs. either Chosen Bros or Penta & Fenix but I can imagine them going against the Bucks is more likely.
Unbelievable news about Jonah Rock too. Super excited not to feel like the only one constantly singing his praises.

I wondered why the Flatliner had been missing from so many RevPro Portsmouth shows lately.

Obviously not Scorpio but the correct answer is absolutely Mr Juicy.
