Re: Is Rudo Reels done

Website down, deleted Facebook pace, Undertaker hat/jacket on the now private Twitter account. Doesn't look good. The shitty thing is that I still have an outstanding order to the tune of 80 bucks that I don't know is going to be fulfilled or not. Anyone have a line of communication with the guy in...

Re: Dragon Gate

This promotion rules. There was a point a few months ago where I thought I'd never get into Dragon Gate at the same level as some of the fanatics on this site. The history just seemed too deep and impregnable, and nothing was connecting as a result. I was cherry-picking the shows, however, and reali...

Re: The BritWres thread (Big Daddy for HoF)

Heading to my first "proper" BritWres shows this weekend. RevPro at York Hall on Thursday, then Fight Club on Sunday night. Both shows should be banging, and I'm pretty fired-up. We only ever get the local tinpot indie and a WWE house show ever 2-3 years up here in Aberdeen, so this opportunity does...

Re: The BritWres thread (Big Daddy for HoF)

Has Fight Club Pro officially given up on VOD? I understand it not being a necessary expense for them or even a huge source of revenue, but as a non-UK based fan it is disheartening. Well, at least I still have ATTACK's vimeo archives. All The Best went up on their Vimeo page a few days ago, and th...

Re: wXw - Germany's biggest promotion

Since Wednesday night I have been bedridden with the worst man-flu I've had in my adult life, which gave me the perfect opportunity just binge-watch all these shows from start to finish. I took-in every single minute of every single show, and I can safely say that I've never been so glad to be sick....

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

I'm happy to throw ***** at Omega vs. Ishii. I was a little fatigued after the moderate disappointment of Suzuki vs. Shibata, but I should know better than to doubt these guys. This thing was just otherwordly good to me. Ishii is the king at drawing you into his struggle and forcing you to root for ...

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

What a great show that was! It has been a long time since I sat down and watched an ROH PPV from start to finish, and I went in with very low expectations, but ended-up having an absolute blast. I had Lethal/Fish, Scurll/Rush, and the Tag Title match all at ****+, and Daniels/Cole was on it's way to...

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

I'm absolutely loving NOAH the REBORN. NJPW is my favourite promotion, but NOAH's shows are the most consistently watchable (and fun!) in wrestling. Nothing on these shows is objectively bad, and while the highs mostly can't compete with NJPW's main eventers, the prelim stuff greatly outshines most...

Re: wXw - Germany's biggest promotion

I'm a bit late in asking this, but will any of the streaming services be showing 16 Carat live? If not, how soon will the shows be uploaded? I've been scouring the matches suggested by wXwNate above, and having a grand old time with them. Psyched for the tourney.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

Unsure if we still need spoiler tags or not, but just to be courteous... I really enjoyed Chapter 44. PROGRESS are on a nice little hot streak at the moment, and I feel like they have wrestling's fun side nailed better than any other promotion in the world at the moment. Drake vs. Moser was fine. Ma...

Re: Wrestle Circus - The Texas SuperIndie

I watched the show in a couple of sittings yesterday. The commentary might be the worst I've ever heard aside from maybe ICW. It was distractingly horrendous, and full of the problems described on this week's flagship. Just two obnoxious dudes trying hard to get themselves over (loudly) above all el...

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Oh my goodness, what a show. Well worth setting an alarm on a Saturday morning for. Undercard had a few highlights. Yoshitatsu thinking he could step to Koji was bloody hilarious, I like that Goto/Juice is seemingly continuing, and Trent looked incredible (for what, the fourth show in a row?) in the...
