Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

SSS16 in Alexandra Palace next year. I've never been to Progress and had my eye on Super Strong Style but less inclined now. Want to see a show in the Ballroom.

Re: VOW Flagship: SummerSlam, Takeover, HEAT GATE, G1 & more!

Gabe comes across as a complete dick anytime a complaint is made (see his typical tweets on any WM weekend with regards to the shows not streaming) while the Progress guys come across as nice guys and at least publicly present themselves as a nice professional outfit. Progress must be one of the wo...

Re: Over The Top Wrestling - Ireland's #1!

After managing to miss both previous British Strong Style OTT shows I had to get a ticket for this one. their match with Angel Cruz and B Cool was one of the greatest spectacles I've seen.

Re: Over The Top Wrestling - Ireland's #1!

Drew Galloway said he'd be back in April. He's been announced for the Belfast show in April. I haven't seen him on any advertising or announcements for Scrappermania. Am I going mad or might Drew not be on the National Stadium show?

Re: Over The Top Wrestling - Ireland's #1!

Well Ospreay vs Ricochet was fucking wild. Chanting 'one of us' at Swoggle was one of the more weirdly emotional moments that I'd rather not have to explain to anyone. Told Justin Shape 'good match man' when I saw him around. Wish I hadn't now the no goodnik. A neat moment when They announced Riddle...

Re: WWE Cruiserweight Classic

Great stuff. When Cedric and Ciampa were wrestling each other I thought 'this reminds me of when ex TNA guys would get fuck TNA chants at indies' then I realised Ciampa was in TNA. Anyway I hope there is a crazy cruiserweight six man tag on RAW

Re: Official WWE Thread: Post-WrestleMania 32

What I don't understand is how that weaker first title win is now EVERY first title win. I'm being a little harsh because injury screwed Balor out of a strong first title but I looked at the list of WWE champions to find the last time someone who hadn't already had the big gold belt won the title fo...

Re: WWE Cruiserweight Classic

Yeah pretty great episode of TV, although I sort of wish I hadn't heard Ibushi/Alexander was 'the best match ever at Full Sail.' Couldn't really live up to expectation and I think I was more invested in Gargano/Ciampa. Maybe because I watched that as it aired and followed along with people on Twitte...

Re: The Dean Ambrose Stone Cold Podcast

Nothing really vague about it. 'If I wanted X I would have Y' is a fairly old joke not to be taken literally.

Re: Over The Top Wrestling - Ireland's #1!

Even though I very much enjoyed having a seat last night I'm thinking of paying 17 quid to stand at one of the Wrestlecon shows instead of paying for a seat at both. I want to see Chris Hero but I'm not entirely comfortable shelling out a fair bit of cash to see Abyss, Melina and Xpac.

Re: WWE NXT 2016

Enjoyed this week's episode. With Rich and Joe recently talking about how guys from NXT are known by the wider WWE audience before they get to the main roster it's got me excited to see how popular Gargano and Ciampa can be after Brooklyn. Not that they are getting called up but that match is bound ...

Re: Why is Will Ospreay so beloved?

I think his age has something to do with it. Being as good as he was at 21/22 is pretty exciting, thinking about how he could develop. Also I just think he's great.

Re: Over The Top Wrestling - Ireland's #1!

Had a pretty great time. With all the rematch talk after Scurll/Smile is it a case of Scurll wanting to work someone he knows he can have a good match with?
