Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Man I actually want to see Okada vs Sato.

Chances are pretty slim tho right? Since the TV Broadcast starts at 15:00 JST, while the Dark Matches are to start at 14:30 JST.

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

1595 Fans in Korakuen, making it a full sellout. Also the second sell-out since the Champions Carnival opener, great news.
Also, Sato being given a chance by Akiyama might be a good move, even Kotaro Suzuki is on board on that match.

For those interested, during the Chiba Blue Field Digest Video on the All Japan Youtube site you can spot the new trainee, who looks really bulky.

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

They're running Korakuen on 2/14, 2/28, and 3/25. Hakata Star Lanes is being run 2/18, and Great Voyage in Yokohama on 3/12. The website doesn't tell me anything about airing dates like it did for this tour, but expect those five shows minimum to pop up on the Archive eventually. 2/14 Korakuen = Sa...

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

I'm loving the february cards, so many interesting match-ups, I just hope we get to see all matches from the Jr. League.
Also at the 2.17. Show, the World Tag Titles will be contested, Miyahara and Lee challenge Big Guns with the Winners of Suwama/Doering vs KAI/Sai possibly challenging next.

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

SUSHI will leave All Japan and become freelance at February 1st. As his final wish as a All Japan wrestler, SUSHI wishes his last AJPW match, which is at January 28th, to be a Singles Match against Akiyama.

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

1301 Fans for Day 1 of the New Years Wars in Korakuen. Also a appearence by KAI, who announced, that he'll compete in All Japan staring February and that he aims to compete for the Triple Crown. I actually don't mind KAI in All Japan, since i've seen his more or less serious side in ZERO1 last year....

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

That Video with Dory denying Onita Hardcore rules for the Asia Tag Titles is so weird and funny, you guys gotta watch it.
The December 18th Card looks solid, I kinda expected a new rookie to debut there, but I guess it will be in 2017 then.

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Is that the official number for the event? If yes, then even I undershot the predicted number for the Ryogoku Show, which is a good thing after all. Concerning the show, I watched it live and I thought it was really really good! I may be an AJPW mark at the moment, but this proved, that Akiyama and ...

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

It's kind of amazing, how AJPW recovered in 2016. I took a look at the schedule for January 2017 and All Japan will run 11 shows in total, which is more than the meager 4 shows in January 2016 and even the January 2015 schedule, which had 8 shows.
