Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

Here's the thing about Disruption's gimmick (or how it comes across): They are jobber group who aren't self-aware or in denial that they are a jobber group. And it's the little things that make them geeks: The name change to 'Atlas Whittaker', Emmanuel wearing that 'Hardest Worker in The Room' t-shi...

Re: VOW Flagship: Dominion, KENTA, Dragon Gate & more!

Should note that NJPW GM Michael Craven really talked up Jack Bonza in particular on a recent podcast. I don't know, I just found that interesting because he's now on the NJPW roster page:

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

MCW has definitely been down the last couple of shows. Some of the newer guys have been great (Street Gang Hooligans, Ritchie Taylor, Matty Wahlberg, Jessica Troy, Steph Delander). Others have been fairly underwhelming (The Parea mainly). A lot of the bigger/ more established names have been missin...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

1. Mick Moretti vs Jack Bonza - PWA 2. Robbie Eagles vs Ritchie Taylor (a lot of people are rightfully talking about Slex vs Gambino from Clash of Titans, but I thought that this match stole the show) - MCW 3. Mick Moretti vs Gavin McGavin - EPW As for Tim's comments on PWA, I really enjoyed the fir...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

Hot take: Shazza McKenzie sucks. I just watched Shazza/Robbie vs Jack Bonza/Jessica Troy from PWA Wahlberg Vs Ugg, really fun match, but every time Shazza is in the match everyone has to slow down so she could keep up. It's like she wrestles in slow motion. Her match with Tyler Payne was even more ...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

Several Aussie wrestlers will be in NY for WrestleMania weekend. Eagles, Moretti, Ugg, Slex, Bonza, Gino Gambino, Shazza, Unsocial Jordan, Jessica Troy, Bel Pierce. Eagles is getting plenty of bookings, Shazza is getting some. But Moretti, Ugg, Slex, and Gino are world class wrestlers, and I'll bet...

PAC hasn't done a clean job or dropped a fall since he left WWE
Indeed. It feels like it's more annoying in the UK because all of his high profile matches have resulted in BS finishes in 'dream matches' for super indy promotions.

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Jay White is someone who is a star & NJPW is wise to invest in him. However, I'm not excited about this potential title run & it's likely to be very criticised. The thing is that Jay is not at the level of a Okada, Tanahashi, Naito or Omega. Heck, people were annoyed about Kenny's recent run but he'...

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling

Is it just me or was that New Year's Resolution show underwhelming? It was quite stacked on paper but felt like a very average show.

Re: FREE Indie Match Thread

This match exceeded my expectations (especially considering it's an Orange Cassidy match & he's normally more comedic).

Re: Pro Wrestling hot stove

There are rumors going around that Jonah Rock is heading to WWE. Am I the only one that just doesn't care at all about Jonah Rock? I've seen a good handful of his matches and am often times bored :( I've actually been a bit down on him this year, even though 2018 has been his breakout year (I thoug...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

I just watched the ladder match between the Street Gang Hooligans and The Untouchables. I did not like this at all to be honest. Half the match felt like they were setting up furniture. I never got the sense of urgency from either team. Early in the match Kingston was alone in the ring, with both P...

Re: Tag Team of the Year

Got to be The Young Bucks. They are the boring pick, but the best pick. I think Golden Lovers will get a good number of votes.

I wonder how well Aussie Open will go in the voting, because they have probably been the best tag team in the UK.
