Re: PROGRESS Wrestling (Discussion)

Tomorrow is the first show since Alexandra Palace which had a lot of changes on top - just six matches announced, but Eddie Dennis is advertised to appear, so something will likely spring out of that. Chapter 96 in Manchester has the following... PROGRESS PROTEUS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Paul Robinson (c...

Re: RevPro UK (Discussion)

One thing Southside did way better than Rev Pro was women's wrestling, they were heavily instrumental in Tegan Nox's development. One of the first Rev Pro shows in old Southside venues will be an all women's show in Sheffield in November, so with the Aulds on board, hopefully that aids a major Rev P...

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling

Yep - good top half of the card with the company on the line between Starr and Ospreay, Okada and Tana teaming together outside Japan for the first time against Suzuki-gun, Michael Oku going for the Cruiserweight Title, and Aussie Open vs. Sha & Bodom to decide GoD's Royal Quest opponents. Bottom ha...

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

Was told between 600-700, which for ROH on a major wrestling weekend is quite frankly shocking. There were other options including Smash and Destiny, but ROH should be a must on weekends like these, and this time it just wasn't. Also... https://twitter.com/Maffewgregg/status/1160249072776884224?s=19

Re: WWE NXT 2019 (A-show schedule in OP)

Yeah, Shayna/Mia was the biggest disappointment of the weekend, and Cole/Gargano was what I'd like to call a Marmite match (you love it or you hate it, few inbetweens). Candice/Io was the best WWE match of the weekend over both shows.

Re: The BritWres thread (Big Daddy for HoF)

Couple of bangers last night at Good Wrestling in Milton Keynes - Beano vs. Big Grizzly for their title was wrestled like a proper title match with the challenger (Grizzly) doing whatever it took to win the title, and Beano having to battle to the fullest limits to hold on to the title. Then the mai...

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

The card for next weekend (still not sold out with seven days to go) illustrates how little there is going on with just a couple of months to go until the big Alexandra Palace show. There's no WALTER or David Starr (think WALTER is in Belfast with OTT, Starr is doing Beyond's Americanrana), and ther...

Re: Smash Wrestling - Canada's answer to superindy

wXw still have the standout match of the week with Daisuke Sekimoto vs. WALTER. Should be a top line card albeit seemingly without Dragunov.
