Re: VOW Flagship (December 22): Call for Questions!

What's your most disappointing match? One you thought would really deliver but didn't.

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling

Yeah, I agree completely. Nobody wins, certainly not Ospreay. This feels like the joke that has gone too far. In all honesty, Ospreay should he presenting himself as a star and this whole thing makes him seem like a geek to me.

Re: Puro Indie Match of The Year Tracking Thread

Is there an agreeable definition of what an indie promotion is? Is it based purely on lack of shareholders or something more holistic?

Great thread btw, always good to have more graps recommemded

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling

It screams "quick buck" to me. Zero interest in seeing it, which is a shame because I normally try and travel round a bit and hit some other promotions over summer.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

Yeah, The Atlas thing has lost a lot of juice. Throwing in tags wasn't a great idea to begin in with and Dante's unforseen difficulties yesterday have taken even more. I wonder why they made the decision to have Whiplash step in rather than make it a three way? Neither solution is ideal but the Whip...

The Tama Tonga hot take was worth the price of admission alone.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

Just got back from the Manchester show - first half was very 'wrestle crap' with too many stips but the top three matches were great, the main event in particular. Scurll is a star and Hero brought out the best in him. Jim said at the end Tommy End, Zack Sabre Jr and Will Ospreay will all be at the ...

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Overall, I thought the tournament was pretty strong. I'll be honest, after night three or four I was pretty bummed out and thought it wasn't up to much but it really turned around. Obviously everyone is talking about how amazing Ospreay is (rightly so) but how brilliant has Finlay become? He's an am...

Re: Your 2016 new best friends

I second David Finlay. He's become a phenomenal brawler and he has that special thing where you believe ever strike that he gives. I'm really excited to see what he dpes once the Young Boy thing is finished (which must be soon).

Re: BOSJ, Extreme Rules, Lion's Gate Project2, Your Questions!

I got a few. Ignore at will.

1) Has the Bullet Club jumped the shark?
2) Which wrestler do you think had the most wasted potential, for whatever reason?
3) Will anyone ever be a true 'number two' promotion?

Yes, it's a shame, but it's also just a bit of fun. Thanks for doing this, Rich.

This is why I love Progress - I can tick another great wrestler off my 'want to see live' list!
