Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Reckon Ohno was scheduled as a 4th man in the Atlas match, only for the hurricane to scupper his travel. It can't be a coincidence that ICW announced him vs their champion at the exact time the atlas match was due to take place. That's the cue for the embargo to be lifted. Nope—and it was announced...

Re: Brit Wres Roundtable #51: Euro Draft II
Hello everyone! So first of all, the elephant in the room: There's an inherent PROGRESS bias in my roster. I didn't set out to do that, but the fact is that that's where I watch most of my wrestling! A lot of other guys I had designs on, like Omari, Chris Ridgeway, and Kenny Williams, all went elsew...

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
Zack is working for ICW on Sunday. All I'll say is underestimate PROGRESS at your peril. Last time people were deriding a show as being "weak on paper" Adam Cole and Roderick Strong answered an open challenge and we got an all-time great match in Jimmy Havoc .vs. Paul Robinson. The show won't disapp...

Re: December (Nominations)
You guys are the first I've heard (I don't count Greenfield whose opinion holds no weight with me) be high on the ZSJ/Ciampa match. Most of the feedback I've gotten is that it was terrible for the most part, with a hot end run. Best praise I've heard is that it was okay, but incredibly flawed. And ...

Re: Brit Wres Roundtable: Year End Awards
British Wrestler of the Year Has to be Will Ospreay. UK Scene Wrestler of the Year Probably still Ospreay but I'll give this one to Jimmy Havoc. Import of the Year Tommaso Ciampa. Tag Team of the Year This is a hard one, I think I have to go for The London Riots but they didn't have as dominant a ye...

Re: December (Nominations)
Tommaso Ciampa vs Zack Sabre Jr 2 from PROGRESS Chapter 24, called "a work of art" by former WWE writer Alex Greenfield. Just a masterclass in high concept psychology and believable offence.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling
I wouldn't say dismissive. The ones I did speak to said they loved the venue and enjoyed Manchester. I just had my personal issues with 3-4 guys stood where I was on the balcony. It was just awkward, as 'waynemax' said, during the beginning of the show and the Natural Progression match. Felt like t...

Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
It's worth noting that one of the Faceless members at ENDVR:9 was a last minute replacement for a member that was ill. Helps explain things a little!

http://666kb.com/i/d0eqpf0ceh2j78eww.jpg Raffle Drawing They turn the raffle into a storyline segment again. Another heel faction. Urgh. A little bit more context than this is maybe needed? This segment saw the debut of The Faceless after a year of teases - things like hacks of the PROGRESS social ...

Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS
Hey Rob! Thought I would sign up and stop just hovering and reading these. (If you haven't realised, I'm the guy who hosted the Stixx/Singh confrontation).
All the stuff about their backgrounds is pretty much real.
Things start to get real good from here!!
