Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

MCW is up on Vimeo. Very good show, must watch IMO New booker and seemingly new (more indy) house style. Fire relief show this weekend has a few names on it whose worth keeping an eye on this year also! Was there live and had a lot of fun. Felt like the best MCW I'd ever been to - all matches good ...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

MCW Endgame was a fun show live. Pretty hot tag opener, a bit of a lull afterwards until Steph V Kelly before intermission, then a killer second half (Psycho V Jag, Emman V' Robbie and Slex V Dowie V Brooksy). Looks like a revamped Loverboy back in 2020 which should be interesting. He was so easy to...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

Disruption..yeah, no one takes them seriously. It’s very hard to take them seriously when they look the way they do. Mark Davis injury would be keeping the MCW9 card on notice, he hasn’t officially been ruled out but what they do with Kyle Fletcher would be interesting. DCT, Ritchie Taylor and Love...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

Finished New Horizons; holy fuck that Dowie promo at the end. (Thought show was good overall, but a lot of stuff at least on tape felt good rather than great) Probably the best promo I've ever seen live. Heat was crazy. But everything he said was right. Looking forward to his heel run! The main eve...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

Was my first MCW live show with Ballroom Brawl. Really enjoyed it, MCW's production live is next level compared to what I'm used to. Thought that Lochy Hendricks vs Danny Psycho was MOTN (great WWE style/sports entertainment drama); on workrate level could see people preferring Slex vs Moody or the...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

Anyone check out WSW in Melbourne this weekend? I found night one a little disappointing. One of my main gripes with WSW is the interchangeable roster. It typically means there is no build for any of the matches and because we have international stars, everyone gets cheered (except Austin Aries) wh...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

MCW has definitely been down the last couple of shows. Some of the newer guys have been great (Street Gang Hooligans, Ritchie Taylor, Matty Wahlberg, Jessica Troy, Steph Delander). Others have been fairly underwhelming (The Parea mainly). A lot of the bigger/ more established names have been missin...

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

The times I've seen Syd he's been great. He just emanates intensity and violence. His offence looks great (and painful!). That being said, I think at times the punk look overshadows how good he is. Lots of good stuff in Melbourne over the weekend. MCW on Friday probably the best show I've ever been ...

Yep, Robbie Eagles vs Will Ospreay from PWA Call to Arms is a ***** classic.
Slex V's Ospreay from MCW 100 also excellent and worth a watch

Re: Australian Indy Wrestling - Home of TMDK

Headed out to Wrestlerock in Melbourne last Friday. I have a bit of a soft spot for it given it was my first introduction to the Aussie scene many years ago so was good to see it back. A fun night - nothing blowaway but Slex V Caveman was probably MOTN. Crowd were into everything and the usual bante...
