Re: NWA Thread - The Relic, The Remnant

That was a highly entertaining show, some pretty good tag team matches, much better production than the 70th show and a damn good main event. Well done, NWA.

Re: wXw - Germany's biggest promotion

A lot of applications for ambition? You mean shoot fight marks? Or is wXw using Ziprecruiter?

Re: Official All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Thread

The JR and the Dustin signing can be seen like that. On the other hand, they put a lot of guys on the roster that are completely unexpected.

Re: wXw - Germany's biggest promotion

I liked the league format, but this one will do it as well. Also allows participation of all local teams, last year most notably Rise could not participate and Coast 2 Coast were tour guest and only in the pre-show. I did not get what sets Ambition Wildcard apart from Ambition though, but given my u...

Re: WrestleMania 35 Weekend (NYC Metro Area)

Spring Break 1 was great. Not too long, everything spot on (I don’t watch deathmatches so this refers to everything before). This should could book any indie talent there is but they instead really thought how to use regulars and lesser know talent smart.

Re: WrestleMania 35 Weekend (NYC Metro Area)

By now, I did not watch a lot, but Bloodsport and DDT delivered big. My wife demanded to watch the Joey Ryan Party and I have to warn you: it is a long, boring and bad show. The only entertaining stuff was one day before already on DDT. Is any of the other wacky shows recommendable (Black Label, Spr...

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

After having slept over it, I would say this was a good and entertaining show. But they missed making it a great show. Every time they delivered big, they followed up with a real stinker by ROH. That ROH made Kenny King win the rumble just shows that they have no clue of what their strengths and wha...

Re: *NEW* ROH Thread. Keep it clean.

ROH literally went for a 60 minutes-draw in their world title match between Matt Taven and Jay Lethal. Given the level of boredom both are associated with, that's a very couragious decision. Yet I must admit that it was quite entertaining throughout the match to see Matt Taven to try to somehow get ...

Re: wXw - Germany's biggest promotion

Back from Oberhausen, no voice left and super tired ... And what a weekend it was. As the shows start being uploaded today, here are the recommendations: Day 1: Thatcher vs Lucky Kid and Walter vs Starr are must watch for the weekend story, and you may not want to miss Ilja vs Daisuke Sekimoto Day 2...

Re: Official All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Thread

I don't think so. Fans have found their way into the New Japan product, which remains compelling for them as they are now familiar with the Japanese talent and there is good Western talent remaining at New Japan. Nothing hinders fans to just watch both.

Re: wXw - Germany's biggest promotion

Good news: Dragunow confirmed as 16 Carat tournament participant. Now let's just hope that Hein doesn't interfere.

Lucky Kid is also confirmed, while everything is pointing at Gunns challenging Andy for the title. Lucky Kid may be the dark horse in the tournament.

Re: wXw - Germany's biggest promotion

I finally had the chance to watch Back to the Roots yesterday. Aside of Andy vs Ilja and Melanie vs Toni nothing noteworthy, but also nothing downright bad. So Melanie is mostly done with wXw at least for the near future, but she gave Toni a good match. She has been a pillar of the women's division ...
