Re: WWE NXT 2019 (A-show schedule in OP)
https://twitter.com/fightful/status/1162496900202815488?s=21 All the talk i see about this is centered around ratings, too much product and how much control Vince will have. What I'm wondering about is how this will effect the talent situation now that NXT will become a more legit 3rd brand. Like w...

Re: Official All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Thread
His work hasn't been bad or anything, but I'm really not getting all this talk about Moxley and this big reinvention of him. I think in terms of look, persona and character he's more Dean Ambrose with a few tweaks than he is the Jon Moxley from CZW and DGUSA. The promo at the end of the pre-show and...

So his deal is up soon and he's looking to leave, yet he takes a leave of absence that could end freezing his contract? What sense does this make?

Re: Pro Wrestling hot stove
Regardig the Tozawa rumors, I guess it is possible his deal is up ans he's done. However, i should also point out that TJP mentioned in a recent interview that the cruiserweights first signed NXT style contracts coming out the CWC, but then the company had them sign new main roster contracts shortly...

Re: Pro Wrestling hot stove
Dave has been pushing Mojo to leave and make a name elsewhere for awhile now. That tells me he did have other options.

Re: Pro Wrestling hot stove
https://twitter.com/wrestlingsheet/status/1139976720541523968?s=21 This is surprising considering they asked to be released months ago. I think this sends a few messages that complaining wrestlers and fans/journalists pushing for this big WWE exodus need to take note of. First, this should be the f...

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread
So they may have others from outside CMLL and ROH in the Super J-Cup? Maybe they can debut guys like A-Kid then.

Re: VOW Flagship: Moxley on Talk is Jericho & AEW Double or Nothing
Had Moxley stuck with the Jericho podcast and not done the subsequent few other podcasts he's done this week, I would say (and did say elsewhere) that he did a masterful job of getting his feelings out there, selling himself to an audience yearning to hear what he said and wisely not shitting in th...

Re: Jon Moxley on Jericho's Pod
I don't get the Brock Lesnar stuff at all. What exactly is doing to cause problems? He just does what he's told, collects his checks and takes the deals they're willing to keep offering him. Brock actually has legitimacy and carries himself like a star. You can"t say the same about most wrestlers to...

Re: Official All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Thread
There's going to be more stuff like this happening when you this we got to please everybody and give them creative freedom mentality. Wrestlers of this era think they're being misused and there's this big conspiracy against them if they're not given free reign, if they're not main eventing and they'...

Re: Official All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Thread
This situation with PAC shows AEW really needs to be cautious in welcoming all these unhappy WWE talents. These wrestlers are not going to leave WWE to join another promotion and work the midcard or be utility players used to help build up new stars. Unhappy WWE wrestlers are people who think they h...

By Mike Johnson on 2019-05-13 15:48:00 "Unhappiness over creative and pay has led to a rift between Impact Wrestling and Killer Kross, PWInsider.com has learned. We have been told by numerous sources that Kross, 33, has been unhappy with the current multi-year deal he signed with Impact a year ago a...

Re: WWE TV Hour by Hour: Road to Money In The Bank 2019
While on the topic of ratings, I think the most deluded and in the bubble thing I've heard people say is that all these lost WWE viewers will turn to whatever non-WWE promotion can get television and that TV networks think the same thing and not be alarmed by WWE's ratings. First off, what evidence...
