Re: G1 CLIMAX 28

At several different points during the White/Tanahashi match you could hear and feel the crowd heating up and you just know they wanted to get into it but White's shenanigans killed them stone dead each time. I don't think the wins over Okada and Tana do a great deal for him because of how they occu...

Re: King's Road - The All Japan Thread

Only watched the Feb 3rd show last night. Ishikawa and Suwama are such a beast team and Kento/Tatsu are the perfect opponents to garner heat on/draw sympathy from the crowd. It's old news but it never fails to impress me at how good Miyahara is, best ace in the business.

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Lads how good is that Golden Lovers segment? Blurred the lines between storyline and reality, as mentioned built hype for their new finisher plus their tag run while establishing that they will still do singles. Gave different motivations for the team reforming and leaves open so many potential rout...

Re: Over The Top Wrestling - Ireland's #1!

Really liked the in ring stuff, the big Scrappermania announcement and storyline progression of Devlin and Rapture/KOTN. Hated the venue. While it being on the LUAS line was handy really felt the atmosphere didn't come close to Tivoli or even National Stadium. Toilets an issue all night and wasn't s...

Re: DDT - Home of Danshoku Dino

Loved the tournament. I'm like a super casual viewer of DDT but got a subscription to their Universe service for the D-King Grand Prix primarily and it was a tremendous way of introducing so many guys to a new fan, brilliant jumping on point. Standouts were Ishikawa, Takeshita and Bailey but also th...

Re: Over The Top Wrestling - Ireland's #1!

Really liking the look of the October 7th Tivoli show. Probably on par with the lineup for the December 9th show in the National Arena.

Re: NOAH - Who is NOAH's savior??

Really enjoyed the Kotoge/Harada match, worked with a real intensity and loved the definitive nature of the finish. Main event was excellent too, thought Nakajima and Shiozaki worked the bulk of the match and their eventual title match should be a cracker. Downside of course was the crowd size but i...

Re: Over The Top Wrestling - Ireland's #1!

Delighted that the ticket sales have gone so well for them this morning given the risk involved in running a building with a big leap forward in capacity size than normal. Got two 2nd row tickets knowing I had to be ready at 10am on the dot. I know they are posting the February 4th show on their Vim...

Re: DDT - Home of Danshoku Dino

I would suggest the 23/11 Korakuen show but I can't find many of the Korakuen shows on the site. So maybe start with 17th and 18th December shows that built up to the Christmas day Korakuen show. Enjoying the HARASHIMA and El Generico playlists they posted, I'll begin from the 17/12 show, thanks fo...

Re: DDT - Home of Danshoku Dino

I'd only catch the occasional DDT match, signed up for DDT Universs, anyone with any idea on what would be a good show to start with so I can start to follow it regularly?

Re: Strong Style Spirit - New Japan catch all thread

Really enjoyed the January 22nd Fantasticamania show. Fun from top to bottom with the last 3 matches worth seeking out. Also loved Liger throwing one of Cavernario's shoes into the crowd and just laughing it off.
