Re: VOW Flagship (2/22): Call for Questions!

Of the European promotions that you guys have been able to keep up with recently, which overall product are you enjoying the most?

And of the promotions that you haven't been able to watch much/any of, which would you most like to get into?

Re: Brit Wres Roundtable #51: Euro Draft II

Here's my card, hopefully it won't finish last... like last year... 8. ~Dreams Come True Ultimate Collision~ Matt Riddle vs Ilja Dragunov The best match you’re gonna see on any of these Euro Draft cards. Quite simply the two most exciting wrestlers on the European scene, each looking to knock the ot...

Re: VOW Flagship (October 20): Call for Questions!

What level of sarcasm is Joe operating on with his love of FACE THE FACTS Curt Hawkins? Has WWE TV finally broken him?

Re: Call for questions - 7/13 Flagship

Could you attempt to predict a 20-man G1 field for 2020? - Who's staying on/dropping out between now and then? Which Young Lions/excursioners will have graduated into the heavyweight division? Any outsiders/NOAH guys who you see being part of the NJPW roster by then?

Re: BOSJ, Extreme Rules, Lion's Gate Project2, Your Questions!

A couple of Euro-oriented questions:

First, in order of personal preference, how do you rank the 'Big 3'; Ospreay, Sabre Jr. and Scurll?

And, outside of those 3, who is your favourite European-based wrestler?

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

I went the other way with this show; after 3 fantastic chapters in a row, this one felt a little lacking. I'm very grumpy on Haskins/Ciampa though, so if I'd enjoyed that more, maybe I would have been more positive heading into the second half. Read my review here for my full breakdown...

Re: BritWres Roundtable (Episode 3): RPWxNJPW Previews

Thanks for the correction Alan; never knew Jay was in the UK, that's a cool story. I'm getting confused with other Fale scouting stories, the latest one from Enuhito being that he's scouting the Japanese Rugby team... And of course, a big thanks for the support. I think you'll really like the RPWxNJ...

Re: Spare Ticket for RPW/NJPW Up-Rising

My brother can't make the shows, so I've got a last minute spare £20 floor ticket for Uprising, and a £30 3rd row ticket for Global Wars UK. If anyone wants one or knows of someone who wants one, just message me here or on Twitter (@AnotherOli) and we can sort things out.

Re: PROGRESS Thread: The Fake Taxi of Wrestling

Bate vs Eaver is an awesome matchup. The PROGRESS crowd will love Bate; he's still young but is very naturally talented. I wasn't planning to go to London for this Chapter but that match may convince me otherwise.

Tomohiro Ishii could probably rip my arm out if he wanted to, but he has the handshake of a 5 year old girl.

Okada's handshake was very good though, ****½.

Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS

Judging by various tweets today, Jimmy Havoc is bound for America, and most probably NXT. If Chapter 21 was his last PROGRESS show, that match with Robinson was an incredible and emotional send off.

Re: Brit Wres Roundtable (Episode 2): PROGRESS, BOLA & more!

We definitely thought this one would go shorter than the first, but we ended up going much longer and I'm still not completely sure how that happened. Going bi-monthly (2 times a month, not once every two months a la BoJack Horseman's snack baskets) would help keep it at a less intimidating length, ...

Re: The BritWres thread (Big Daddy for HoF)

Fight Club Pro definitely has a cool and unique atmosphere, I've only been to one show but I had a good time, it does come across as 'Midlands PROGRESS' which is a good thing IMO. If they ran inner city Birmingham I'd be much more inclined to go, but Wolverhampton is a little more awkward to attend....

Re: Revolution Pro Wrestling

I think Andy Quildan has said that New Japan officials will be at the joint shows in October, and some of the matches at Global Wars UK will be taped for NJPW World, so those two shows are the big chance for the British guys to earn a trip to Japan. Ospreay for next year's BOSJ has a pretty good cha...

Re: Rob's Guide on How to Progress through PROGRESS

Rob and I are both very high on Eaver. He's in this year's Natural Progression Series, and his big win over Dar and potentially another big singles win over Gallagher may mean that he's either winning the whole thing or getting eliminated early to set up a bigger feud, as with Ospreay in NPS II. I'm...
