Re: And the Rest: Nominations who didn't recive one vote at all.

Dragon Kid doesn't belong on this list, he finished 78th, was my #50 and on 17 ballots.

Re: RESULTS: The Honor Roll: ROH's 50 Greatest Wrestlers Ever (100-51)

This is where I think you start to really see this factor in: Early years (2002-2003) – 42 Golden years (2004-2008) – 45 HDNet era (2009-2010) – 8 SBG era (2011-present) – 16 This represents when people started watching the product, correct? So, voters that started watching during the early years m...

Re: Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson)

As a programming reminder - while we had just one thread for discussion purposes - as previously discussed in this thread, since it's ROH "Wrestler", Matt and Nick need their own slots on your ballot. If you do put them both together, no biggie - will just push off your #50 in final calculation. Gi...

Re: Nigel McGuinness

I'm curious why people think Nigel should finish third. What is his argument over Aries, Homicide, Morishima et al? I think when you actually put the resumes side by side, Nigel comes up short and his stuff hasn't aged well at all. What are the great Nigel matches where people think he is actively ...

Re: Samoa Joe

Danielson had been my working #1 through this whole process and I don't think you could go wrong with him or Joe. They may be 1 and 1A. But I didn't watch this many matches and spend this much time to call it a tie. And I think Joe's impact is greater. If you look at ROH when he won the belt it stil...

Re: Nigel McGuinness

Diving deeper on Nigel was one of the joys of doing this project for me. Helluva worker. He's my #3 and I think he's in the same tier, though a bit below Joe and Danielson, and without as much overall impact as those 2. Still that's rarified air, and now that I've bolstered my collection a bit looki...

Re: Rocky Romero

Rocky was one of the bigger pleasant surprises for me. Not only the deep tag resume already mentioned but he had some excellent singles matches with Danielson and Marufuji to name a couple. And he was part of the great trios match with Okada vs. the Bullet Club. Easily makes my list.

Re: John Walters

His feud with Xavier, the run with the pure title and especially his battles with Generation Next are enough to make my list.

Re: Xavier

Not a bad wrestler at all. Your mileage on Xavier likely comes down to how much you value a run with the title. I put a lot of value on the belt, so he'll make the back end of my list. That said I still can't figure out why he won the ROH title. He seemed far down the pecking order, and he seemed to...

Re: KUSHIDA

So KUSHIDA has 24 matches with the company, which is in the same ballpark as KENTA, Morishima, Marufuji. They'll be higher on the list of course, those matches were generally better and higher profile. But I think KUSHIDA has a pretty solid case for the bottom of the list. I'm hoping to rewatch a fe...

Re: Spanky/Brian Kendrick

When I started thinking about my list I thought he'd be a lock. But the more I dig in, I can't really make a strong case for him. Small number of matches overall and nothing really stands out as great. He was well behind London, Low-Ki, Daniels, Danielson and Doug Williams on those early shows, and ...

Re: ACH

I'm pretty sure he's making my list. Always good, exciting matches and as others pointed out, his style fit really well to fill TV. That was a big part of ROH during his time there. He didn't have as many longer classic matches, but was asked to do different things. And the Lethal matches were reall...

Re: Delirious

I'm struggling with Delirious. Sheer volume and uniqueness make me think he should be on, but I can't think of a great angle or match to really make his case.
