WrestleMania Week 2026 Full Schedule & Events
STARDOM’s American Dream show comes at a pretty bad time for them with Yokohama Arena being their main focus right now. That and Saya Kamitani bring booked for Fortune Dream means they have gone with a skeleton crew of sorts with this being more of a STARDOM x AEW show than a regular STARDOM event. I’ll dive into some of the interesting matches but this one has been disrupted with visa issues and a difficult schedule.
Full Card
- Maika, Mina Shirakawa & HANAKO vs Rina Yamashita, Suzu Suzuki & Hazuki
- Athena vs Rina
- Natsupoi & Aya Sakura vs Brittnie Brooks & SAKI
- NJPW Strong Women’s Championship: Alex Windsor © vs Saya Iida
- Neo Genesis (Starlight Kid, AZM & Mei Seira) vs Kris Statlander & Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron)
Athena vs Rina
One of the most interesting matches of the entire WrestleMania week stretch sees forever-champ Athena take on one of STARDOM’s standouts in Rina. I am among a very, very small minority who is not the biggest fan of Athena’s longer outings in ROH but my hope is they can keep this one on the shorter side and emphasise the snug strikes and willingness to take sick bumps.
Not everything needs to be the MOTY, the perfect execution for this one would be a fun back-and-forth match where Athena changes her style up to match Rina like we saw her do in STARDOM last year during her brief tour.
New Japan Strong Returns
Syuri losing the purple belt made it seem like it would be axed from STARDOM canon entirely but instead we see the woman who beat her make her first defense against Saya Iida, who is sure to be very popular with the live audience. An Iida title match is a no-brainer for a show like this. STARDOM fans love the gori-powered underdog everywhere they go, so this gives the live audience someone to rally around.
Windsor has been pretty good against Japanese talent in her career, having a few solid matches with Syuri and doing well against Miyu Yamashita in EVE a few years ago. This should be a great match and the standout of this show if you’re short on time.
Reunion
In one of the main plays to long-term STARDOM fans, Mina Shirakawa makes her first appearance for the company in a year as she reunites with former teammates HANAKO and Maika. This is a pretty simple match that continues the Mi Vida Loca vs Maika storyline with an old friend likely turning the tide in Maika’s favour.
