NJPW G1 Climax 33 – Night One

Date: July 15, 2023

Venue: Sapporo Prefectural Sports Center Hokkai Kitayell

Time: 5:00 pm JST

G1 Climax 33 kicks off as a free show with no sign-up required on NJPWWorld on July 15 (at the time of posting, that is in just a few hours). The team at Voices of Wrestling has done a phenomenal job previewing the Block A, Block B, Block C, and Block D, and my good friend J. Michael has written the quintessential guide to being an NJPW fan, so of course, it only makes sense that the statistics, research, and information that I send to Kevin Kelly and Chris Charlton ahead of every card also finds its home at Voices of Wrestling. I’ll be posting my notes for every card of this year’s G1 Climax. Below, take a look at night one’s packet, and feel free to follow along with me on Twitter when the show is live, as that’s where I’ll be adding iany extra bits of info that I pick up along the way.
