These Circle 6 shows are not happening inside the bar at Knucklehead Hollywood but rather in a ring outside. Which is usually fine for these shows but California has been getting a ton of rain over the last week, so we’ll see how that goes over the next few days. Slip and slide wrestling will surely be a memorable Mania Weekend experience.

Just as I typed that, Circle 6 Tweeted that the show has been delayed because of weather issues. Tremendous.

The countdown clock hit zero and nothing happened. Fantastic.

The show finally started 44 minutes late with no sound. There are legitimately sixteen people there.

Delightful Dan The God Damn Candy Man and Mick Moretti had a god awful wrestling match. Delightful Dan The God Damn Candy Man tried to hit the Twix of Fate but couldn’t connect. A Jawbreaker (GET IT!?) didn’t get the job done either. Moretti used a WET WILLY and then hit a Curb Stomp for the win. Terrible.

The night Kimona Wanalaya (Viktor Devonne) danced atop (in the ring) the ECW Arena (the Knucklehead Hollywood parking lot).

The second match was a Rumble apparently. It started with two guys with no names (they had names but the sound was so low I couldn’t catch them) and then Shotgun Adams joined the match. Vinnie Massaro threw some nice suplexes. There’s a bee floating around the hard cam. Grappler’s Anonymous’s Jo Jo Collins looked alright. Alice Crowley threw Massaro over the top rope for the win. A bunch of these guys looked untrained.

Robert Martyr just had a pretty good match with Minoru Suzuki for Prestige Wrestling and now he’s wrestling Dark Sheik in this parking lot. Wrestling rules. Dark Sheik is doing an homage to Raven (do you also want to cosplay wrestlers? Check out HOMAGE.) Martyr tried in this match, but you can’t really get much of a reaction when less than twenty people are in the crowd. Sheik hit a DDT onto a chair for the win. This was better than the opener and the Rumble, but it still wasn’t good.

Overall Thoughts

What a way to start WrestleMania Weekend for Circle 6. It was not good. That’s it for this show. Time for Lindsay Snow’s Kaiju Cannabis Cup.
