John is joined by returning guest & VOW contributor Paul Volsch (@Darth_Dragon), and they start out with a very brief (read: under 10 minutes) Wrestlemania review. Believe it or not John actually had TWO matches from WWE’s annual extravaganza at four stars or better, which is actually a lot for them, and you’ll have to listen to find out which ones. There’s lots of laughing about the latest chapter of the Fiend saga too though, of course. Once that’s out of the way they get into a full review of Night 3 of All Japan’s Champion Carnival tournament, 4/11 from Niigata. John and Paul discuss a fun show full of good, solid matches, breaking down all the action in detail. They wrap up the AJPW segment by ranking their top 5 matches from the entire tournament so far, going over the standings, and discussing next Saturday’s Night 4 card.

Then they turn their attention to DDT with a long review of the 4/11 April Fool Korakuen. John and Paul discuss the unexpectedly amazing Jun Akiyama vs. Danshoku Dieno main event in great detail, discuss Konosuke Takeshita’s recent apperance in AEW (and why it doesn’t make a lot of sense), talk about upcoming DDT plans including a major match for the 6/6 Cyberfight Festival and a confirmed date for the start of 2021’s King of DDT, go over some very fun comedy on the undercard, discuss the debut of a new rookie and more. If you’ve come for DDT talk this is the week for you, as it gets nearly a full hour to wrap up the show.
