REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2019 MATCH
THE END (PARROW & ODINSON) [4] DEF. DAISUKE SEKIMOTO & THE BODYGUARD [0] (8:29)

As you can tell from the length of this match, they got down to business right away. No filler. Odinson and Sekimoto went right to hitting each other really hard while Parrow and The Bodyguard brawled into the crowd.

Sekimoto played whipping boy for most of this match with The Bodyguard only getting tagged in during the last couple of minutes. But being the fresh man didn’t help as The Bodyguard eventually fell to the Blood Eagle (Powerbomb & Lumbar Check combo). This was exactly what this match needed to be, lots of big hits and power moves.

What surprised me the most with this match, was the BJW Tag Team Champions have lost three straight tournament matches. ***1/4

REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2019 MATCH
JAKE LEE & NAOYA NOMURA [2] DEF. KAI & TAJIRI (17:26)

This match starts with some stalling from KAI & TAJIRI who both go up to talk to women in the front row. I kid you not. And there was a little more stalling from both of them once they get in the ring.

This was slow to start with KAI & TAJIRI slowly working over Nomura’s arm for a while. Things finally picked up when the hot tag was made to Lee.

The match eventually picked up a good bit of steam. Got some near falls and double teams, plus TAJRI went back to Nomura’s arm in an attempt to get a submission. Oh and Nomura and Lee both got the green mist. Lee managed to fight through the misting, and held TAJIRI so Nomura could hit the Lancer followed by the Maximum for the win. This turned into something fun in the end, thanks to good performances from Lee and Nomura. ***1/2

FINAL THOUGHTS

An overall solid show and much improved from Night 2. The tour takes a few days off and resumes on November 17 in Sapporo with another couple of shows in Hokkaido before returning to Korakuen Hall on November 21.
