REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2019 MATCH
THE END (PARROW & ODINSON) [2] DEF. KAI & TAJIRI [2] (9:06)

TAJIRI got tagged in early in this and… did some stalling. The first few minutes of this were slow but decent enough. KAI tried to pull down Odinson’s tights so we got a very brief glimpse of some butt crack in All Japan. The End is limited in some ways but can be good when they are doing their power move spots here, though, they looked a lot more interesting than KAI & TAJIRI who just went through the motions. TAJIRI tried to sunset flip Parrow but the much larger man resisted but got some green mist for his efforts. Odison managed to intervene and push his partner down on TAJIRI for the win. Probably will end up being one of the weakest matches of the tournament, but at least it happened on night two. **1/4

REAL WORLD TAG LEAGUE 2019 MATCH
VIOLENT GIANTS (SUWAMA & SHUJI ISHIKAWA) [4] DEF. DAISUKE SEKIMOTO & THE BODYGUARD [0] (18:08)

After Night 1, Violent Giants vowed to break up if they fail to win the entire tournament. A little slow to start, but at least we still got tons of stiff strikes during the opening minutes. Things eventually picked up, and these teams started to throw each other around like the hosses they are. A highlight was the SUWAMA vs. Sekimoto exchanges. The match still took a while to pick up, but even when the pace quickened, things did not peak high.

The last couple of minutes were good with Ishikawa hitting all of his big moves on The Bodyguard, finally putting him away with the Fire Thunder Driver. At least this didn’t feel like a long 18 minutes ***1/4

FINAL THOUGHTS

After the Korakuen Hall opener, the tournament tour immediately headed into some smaller cities where there are only going to be one or two tournament matches per show. I suspect this will end up being one of the weaker shows of the tournament, which all things considered, isn’t too bad a sign for how things will turn out in the end.
