WWE fans are getting ready to go to hell.
Not literally, but the much-anticipated Hell in a Cell event is just around the bend. On October 6th, the demonic cage will drop down to lock the wrestlers into the ring in Sacramento California.
Sites like 5Dimes and Sportsbetting AG have odds on a few of the matches. So let’s take a look at a couple of those based on what the probability experts in Vegas think. Because multiple sites will have different odds, it’s important to check this sportsbetting.ag review to see if they have everything you are looking for in a book.
The Fiend vs. Seth Rollins
Bray Wyatt has challenged the Universal Champ to a battle for the title at Hell in a Cell. But, it won’t be the mild-mannered Bray Wyatt doing the fighting, it will be the Fiend.
Seth Rollins has only held the Universal Champion belt anew since August 11th. If he loses, it would make it one of the shorter reigns in Universal Champion history. Fans might question whether the WWE would grant Seth Rollins the belt – for the second time– just to have it quickly taken away. But the odds imply that Seth Rollins has a 77.5 percent chance of losing to the Fiend.
How do know this? Well, the Feind is set with odds to win at -350. This covers to 3.5 to 1 (9/31) or 1.29 which is equal to the probability of 77.5 percent. So, the analytical geniuses over in Las Vegas believe that the Fiend is more than three-quarters likely to snatch the belt away from Seth Rollins. But what is probability anyhow? Essentially, it is the outcome you expect any number of times out of many trials. In other words, under these circumstances, if the Fiend and Seth Rollins were to fight 10 times, the Feind would win 8 times (rounding up from 7.75).
Holy Moses! It looks like Rollins might be in trouble. That said, this could be one of the two fights out of ten that Seth Rollins wins … you never know.
It’s also important to note that these odds and probabilities are based on the decision at the end of the broadcast, not who initially wins.
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks
Sasha Banks has an implied probability of 82.1 percent to walk away the victor over Becky Lynch. Sasha Banks was recently reunited with her ‘Hug’ on Monday Night Raw when she interrupted the tag-team match – which Bayley was partnered with the Raw Women’s Champ, Becky Lynch– only to have Bayley stop her from beating down Lynch … so that Bayley could do it herself!
Well, Sasha Banks didn’t lose at Clash of Champions the other day, but she sure got smashed towards the end and Becky Lynch retained her RAW Championship belt. But as you saw above, probability implies that Becky Lynch is going to get devastated at Hell in a Cell, as this long-running rivalry continues.
By gawd, there's only one structure that can contain Becky and Sasha #WWEClash pic.twitter.com/y8xN1AzFAM

At least this time around, they won’t be able to escape into the arena. They will be forced to face each other mano e mano inside the steel cage.
Will Sasha Banks get her revenge? Well, the odds look pretty good. We just hope that her arm will be up to the task after taking that ravaging with the chair.
