Session Moth Martina def. Hanan

A really well-wrestled opener that gave Martina a pinfall win for the first time in the tour, which is an obvious move as she looks strong and Hanan doesn’t get hurt taking the fall. For a comedy character Martina hasn’t looked out of place in the ring on this tour and Hanan more than held up her end of the bargain. **1/2

Blue Goddess: Natsumi & Starlight Kid (2) def. Ruaka & Kaori Yoneyama (0)

In the pre-match interview, Kid mentioned that she always beats Ruaka, while that isn’t 100% true she has been on the winning side more often than not when the two share a ring. When Kid pinned Ruaka it felt like such a natural flow, Kid was confident she could beat Ruaka so she pins her in the match it makes sense and highlights what could be a future rivalry as Ruaka looks to win the big one against Starlight Kid one day in the future. As for the match it was a nice, short match with good action. Kid and Natsumi have been an exciting team in their two matches to date and I look forward to seeing more of them together. ***

Queens Quest Special Challenge match Konami & Utami Hayashishita vs AZM & Momo Watanabe-Draw

Unlike the QQ challenge match from the morning show, this one felt like it had some intensity behind it. Of course, any match with Momo, Konami and AZM in it is going to be full of hard-hitting action and this did not disappoint as it’s 15 minutes flew by. ***1/2

Oedo Tai (Kagetsu, Hazuki & Natsu Sumire) def. J.A.N (Leo Onozaki, Jungle Kyona & Natsuko Tora)

For Jungle Jyona and Natsuko Tora this was their second trios match of the day but neither took it easy here. While not as good as the Artist title match from the earlier show this was still an excellent trios match. J.A.N seem to have perfected the style as they have blown me away the few times i have seen them in this format. In another case of the pre-match interviews flowing into the match, Onozaki mentioned that she has been slipping up lately and ended up tapping out to gove Oedo Tai the win. It’s a little thing but having a universe where the wrestlers are aware of wins and losses is refreshing. ***1/4

Red Goddess: Bea Priestley & Chardonnay (3) Def. Shiki Shibusawa & Tam Nakano (0)

It could be that I’ve watched too much wrestling or it might be the standard that this show has set but I wasn’t into this as much as other people probably were. Not a bad match by any measure but I wasn’t engrossed. **1/2

Blue Goddess: Hana Kimura & Mary Apache (4) def. Mayu Iwatani & Saki Kashima (4)

For Mayu and Saki this was their second main event of the day so neither could go at the same pace as earlier but this was still wrestled at a good pace, much better than Hana’s last few matches anyway. Kimura and Apache remain unbeaten on the tour so far as Hana continues to look strong heading into her match with Kagetsu. Kashima took the pin her but also scored the fall earlier in the Artist match so she doesn’t lose a lot with the finish. As for Mayu, she is the Icon of Stardom she doesn’t need a lot of heating up heading into a title match. Overall a decent main event as we head to Stardom’s big 10/23 show headlined with a double main event.***
