Report has it that WWE have sanctioned the departures of two more superstars to complete a brutal triple exodus which have included Darren Young and Summer Rae and Emma. Following these massive exodus, WWE betting odds at 10Bet will certainly be affected.
A statement on the WWE website read: ” WWE has come to terms on the releases of WWE Superstars Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae.
“WWE wishes them the best in all of their future endeavours.”
Emma’s departure had been a major shock for WWE fans when it was announced. This is not unrelated to the fact that after spending months in the scenes doing background work she had received immense popularity by the time she has spent in recent times on the Raw flagship show. As a matter factly no one could have guessed that Emma’s stay could have been so short-lived.
Quite interesting and perhaps startling in equal measure is the fact that just last Sunday night Emma had wrestled in her first-ever singles match on pay-per-view where she had unfortunately lost to the debuting Asuka. She equally suffered another defeat to the Japanese grappler the following night on Raw in what turned out to be her final and farewell match with the company. So her departure will no doubt leave in a sour taste in the mouth as she left without having tasted victory in the ring in any of her two outings.
The announcement regarding Emma’s departure came in earlier during the day and as fans were still reeling from the effects of the shock the departures of Summer Rae and Darren Young rent the air waves soon afterwards.
Though the shock of Emma’s departure was greater than that Rae and Young’s departure ,however keen followers of happenings in the WWE were none the less equally-surprised to see the contracts of Young and Rae both terminated after their long stints with WWE.
The duo who at various points in their careers had been regular features in the WWE up to this point but have had a miserable year so far. As a matter of factly both have barely featured on television during recent times with injury keeping them sidelined for the majority of 2017 and this may be unconnected to why the company have decided to cut ties with them.
Young has been absent from the ring since sustaining an injury in January while Rae’s last appearance was as a cameo in the crowd at the Mae Young Classic finals in the summer.
Young, real name Frederick Douglas Rosse, is a former tag-team champion and made an immediate impact upon his arrival on the main roster with The Nexus in 2010. He had won worldwide acclaim when he became the first openly gay superstar in WWE’s and he will no doubt be sorely missed.
