Oh, April, you’ve spoiled us. After good but not particularly deep months, we’ve had an explosion of nominations in our April Match of the Month poll with a total of 25 (!) matches receive the necessary votes to get into our voting pool. While we knew a larger pool of matches was likely with WrestleMania weekend (a stellar WrestleMania weekend, to boot), nobody could have predicted this.

More impressively, 15 different promotions are represented in this month’s voting: EVOLVE, ROH, NXT, SHIMMER, Wrestlecon, WWN Live, JWP, WWE, Miercoles Elite, Sendai Girls Pro Wrestling, CZW, Big Japan Wrestling, NJPW, CWF Mid-Atlantic and All Japan Pro Wrestling.

Remember, the goal of the project is to expand your wrestling horizons, so if you haven’t seen any of the matches listed, please try to view them before voting. While our goal is of course to name a Match of the Month, this acts more as a resource to ensure each and every fan watches the best wrestling in a given month.
