WWE SmackDown (May 21) Results & Review

This show was a Roman Reigns sandwich with some unexpected bright spots in between, but a sharp drop off in quality in the second half. Interactions between Shield members remain a highlight even almost a year after their dissolution.

PWG From Out Of Nowhere (February 27) Review

Overall, this is a nice debut show for some new tag teams. However, it’s King Ricochet and Matt Sydal stealing the show. Some will like this show top to bottom a lot more, but I at times found it a bit of a chore to get through (I mean, look at how late this review is!). You should check out the highlighted matches though, they are really good.

NJPW on AXS TV (May 22): Best of the Super Juniors XXI

This was, without question, the best hour of televised professional wrestling I have seen in months and it may go down as one of the best ever. For me, this show on AXS-TV is right up there with last season’s Okada / Tanahashi classic that I called the best televised wrestling hour ever.

Ring of Honor TV (Episode 191) Review

Ring of Honor TV is coming off of an episode I could describe only as “meh.” Coming into this week, I was just hoping for something watchable. With a scheduled main event of The Briscoes vs. War Machine, I felt confident this episode would far surpass last week’s.
